Was it windy or does the Midwest just suck?

We had a tornado watch today across most of the midwest including this area. Me being me, I hid in my basement with my laptop and hoped that the power and the Internet held out. Other than a lot of leaves covering everything, the damage wasn't really bad. The only problem I really saw was a car that hit a tree. I somehow doubt it was weather related as the guy seemed to have backed into the tree.

Well, I am gearing up for NaNoWriMo this year. I am writing a surreal novel about two fellows who find out reality is a marketable product sold by an inter-dimensional company. If that made sense to you, then I pity you.
